Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products
• Actively engage in product work, providing feedback and suggesting improvements based on technical insights
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to the shared codebase while maintaining a good understanding of the team's domain

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems
• Practical experience designing or adopting automation workflows and improving them through iteration
• Experience with Postgres or similar databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Ability to think in systems and define clear specifications for projects
