Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer - Agentic AI Foundations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build a vendor-agnostic agent platform for reuse across workflows and teams
• Develop frameworks to measure and improve agent performance, robustness, and safety
• Implement safety and governance controls to ensure responsible agent behavior and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in large-scale distributed systems or backend platforms
• 3+ years of experience designing and operating production-grade systems with reliability and performance requirements
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Agentic AI systems, or intelligent applications
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver complex technical initiatives
