Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer - Surfaces/PZN.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the core experimentation service, automating experiment setup and validation across backend systems
• Design and maintain API-first orchestration layers for experimentation and content delivery systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale automated experimentation patterns and improve system reliability

Required Qualifications

• Experience building and operating large-scale backend systems
• Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and service-oriented architecture
• Ability to design systems focused on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Experience defining and working with SLOs, SLAs, and observability tooling
• Experience with AI-assisted tools and LLMs is a plus
