Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Backend Engineer is a full-time position responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems, optimizing platform performance, and leading the development of backend services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable backend systems from architecture to production deployment
• Lead the implementation of backend services, APIs, and data models while setting technical standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions and improve development workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant backend engineering experience building production systems
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex software systems end-to-end
• Strong experience with API design and NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
• Proficiency in a modern backend language, preferably Node.js
• Experience working in cloud environments and across cross-functional teams to deliver complex product features
