Job Summary

Senior Backend Engineer, responsible for designing and building high-throughput backend platforms in a full-time remote role, focusing on internal platform services and shared infrastructure for engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure
• Architect high-throughput backend platforms for high request volumes
• Lead incident response for platform issues and drive engineering improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience
• Strong expertise in designing distributed systems with attention to consistency and availability
• Advanced proficiency in a major backend language (e.g., Java, Go, Scala)
• Experience with high-throughput messaging and event-driven architectures
