Job Summary

Senior Backend Engineer, focused on high-throughput platform development, is a full-time remote position requiring over 6 years of experience, responsible for designing and building backend platform capabilities to support high traffic volumes and enhance developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure for engineering teams
• Architect high-throughput backend platforms and develop event-processing pipelines
• Establish observability and capacity-planning practices while mentoring mid-level engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience
• Strong expertise in designing distributed systems with attention to consistency and availability
• Advanced proficiency in at least one major backend language (e.g., Java, Go, Scala)
• Experience with high-throughput messaging and event-driven architectures
