Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing infrastructure team, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will architect scalable backend systems, optimize API performance, and implement security protocols while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a clean, scalable backend code structure for multi-model AI integration
• Identify, audit, and optimize core backend APIs to improve response times and publish comprehensive API documentation
• Develop and deploy security solutions to protect platform assets from unauthorized scraping

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience in high-traffic, data-heavy environments
• Expertise in PHP/Laravel and proficiency in Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP in a multi-cloud environment
• Experience integrating APIs from major AI providers and scaling search technologies like Meilisearch
• Proven experience implementing security measures and optimizing database performance
