Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of a dynamic prediction market platform, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will architect and implement Go-based services, define engineering standards, and uphold code quality while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Go-based services capable of sustaining high request throughput with low latency
• Define and enforce engineering standards, including API versioning and service health benchmarks
• Drive code quality through reviews, conventions, and technical documentation while collaborating cross-functionally

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with Go, including idioms, interfaces, and concurrency patterns
• Strong experience in API and microservices architecture, particularly REST and GraphQL APIs
• Deep SQL expertise with PostgreSQL or MySQL, and familiarity with Redis and ClickHouse
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems like Kafka or Redpanda
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
