Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a fast-growing company, the remote Senior Backend Engineer will participate in all development aspects of a dynamic hybrid/cloud native product, writing high-quality code in Go and Typescript while mentoring new team members.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in the full development lifecycle from design to production for a hybrid/cloud native product
• Write efficient, testable code and promote continuous improvement of product functionality
• Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to new engineers

Required qualifications

• Significant experience developing software for production systems
• Proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, Python, or other backend-oriented languages
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Ability to take initiative and scope work for iterative value delivery
• Strong testing abilities, including automated testing and monitoring practices
