Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity company, the remote Senior Backend Engineer will take part in all development aspects of a dynamic hybrid/cloud native product, writing high-quality code in Go and Typescript while mentoring new team members.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and production of a hybrid/cloud native product
• Write efficient, testable code and promote continuous improvement of product functionality
• Collaborate with team members and mentor new engineers

Required qualifications

• Significant experience developing software for production systems
• Proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, Python, or other backend-oriented languages
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring technologies
• Strong testing abilities, including automated testing and monitoring
