Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support high-throughput platform development, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and operate foundational services that enhance internal developer experience while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure for engineering teams
• Architect high-throughput backend platforms to sustain high request volumes with predictable latency
• Lead incident response for platform issues and drive engineering improvements to prevent recurrence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience
• Proven track record in building and operating internal platforms consumed by multiple teams
• Strong expertise in designing distributed systems with a focus on consistency and availability
• Advanced proficiency in a major backend language such as Java, Go, or Rust
