Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on developing a dynamic hybrid/cloud native product by writing high-quality, testable code in Go and Typescript while mentoring team members and promoting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all development aspects from design through production of the product
• Write efficient and testable code in Go and Typescript
• Collaborate with team members and mentor new hires

Required qualifications

• Significant real-world experience developing software for production systems
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or other backend-oriented languages
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services
• Familiarity with CI/CD/DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring technologies
• Strong testing abilities, including automated testing and monitoring
