Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Backend Engineer focused on high-throughput platform development, this full-time remote position will design and build internal platform services, architect latency-sensitive backend systems, and develop event-processing pipelines that support high traffic volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure for engineering teams
• Architect high-throughput backend platforms capable of handling high request volumes with predictable latency
• Develop durable event-processing pipelines and asynchronous job execution platforms for product teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience
• Proven experience building and operating internal platforms or shared services
• Strong expertise in designing distributed systems with a focus on consistency and availability
• Advanced proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or modern C++
