Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Backend & Infrastructure Engineer for a full-time remote position in the US or LATAM, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and backend services, while ensuring stability and performance across various client initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using programmatic tools like Terraform
• Develop, deploy, and scale robust backend services and microservices focused on high availability and resilience
• Oversee observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure performance and security

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer with a focus on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering
• Expertise in programmatic infrastructure and cloud resource management using infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Deep proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Typescript, Go, Java/Kotlin, C#, or Rust)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
