Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI integration across products, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will build application-layer foundations, design scalable integrations, and create data pipelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build the application-layer foundations for AI integration, including integration patterns and shared architecture
• Design and implement reliable, scalable integrations with third-party services and APIs
• Collaborate across engineering teams to establish shared patterns and ensure the platform meets real use cases

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of backend software development experience
• Practical experience building AI-powered systems and integrations at scale
• Strong integration engineering background with experience designing reliable connectors to external services
• Experience building data pipelines for AI use cases, including familiarity with RAG and embeddings
• Clear communicator capable of collaborating across teams and explaining technical decisions
