Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and develop scalable backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate, build, and lead key components of Raya's backend services
• Work with UX designers and data scientists to ensure user-focused solutions
• Stay updated on the latest technologies to maintain scalable and innovative solutions

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in modern software development with a focus on scalable systems
• Expertise in system design and architecture, particularly with Node.js and Typescript
• Experience building and scaling backend systems in production environments
• Familiarity with Apple StoreKit and Stripe payments/subscriptions for B2C products
• Interest in new AI tools and frameworks with a willingness to adopt best practices
