Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a mission-driven Senior Backend Engineer for a full-time remote position who will take ownership of building reliable, high-impact systems and manage complex backend projects from conception to deployment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build new products and features from 0 to 1, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
• Deliver value to users by considering performance, scale, security, and maintainability across the system
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews to peers while collaborating with Product and Design teams

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in building and operating backend systems in production
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and backend technologies such as Node.js and databases
• Demonstrated ownership of large-scale systems with a focus on reliability and performance
• Product-oriented engineering mindset with experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning
