Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of high-performance backend storage solutions, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable systems on AWS, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed storage systems and APIs, ensuring low-latency and high-throughput data storage
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define technical roadmaps and optimize storage efficiency
• Troubleshoot production incidents related to data integrity and ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with 3+ years focused on AWS cloud services
• Strong programming skills in Java or Kotlin, with experience in building scalable microservices and APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS storage technologies such as DynamoDB, EBS, and Glacier
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CI/CD best practices
