Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of an innovative AI workspace, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will build and integrate API tooling, create distributed systems, and advocate for API governance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and integrate customer feedback into API tooling and shared services
• Create new architectural foundations and mission-critical distributed systems in collaboration with other teams
• Own integrations within the API Gateway layer and service lifecycles from design to production

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of API standards, design approaches, and integration patterns
• Proficient with TypeScript and Golang
• Strong understanding of CAP Theorem and distributed systems design patterns
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
