Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the development of scalable backend systems, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and build high-performance distributed systems in Go, ensuring reliability and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution and technical excellence across backend projects, setting engineering standards and guiding architectural decisions
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, optimizing for performance, reliability, and resilience
• Collaborate with frontend, platform, autonomy, and embedded teams to integrate services and support end-to-end system design

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering or distributed systems engineering
• Strong expertise in Go and building highly concurrent systems
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale
• Strong API design and system architecture skills
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
