Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Building and scaling infrastructure for innovative financial products, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design secure backend systems and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure backend systems and APIs for onchain and offchain interactions
• Collaborate with smart contract engineers to define interfaces and workflows between backend services and blockchain networks
• Own integrations with custodians, KYC providers, and payments infrastructure, while supporting internal operations and compliance teams

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience, with familiarity in TypeScript, Go (Golang), or Python
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and API development
• Experience integrating with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and security-sensitive systems
• Demonstrated interest in Web3 or DeFi through professional experience or side projects
• Located in a US time zone (PT-ET)
