Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer (Java) will build robust backend services and APIs in a fully remote capacity, contributing to features that enhance family coordination platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Architect and implement scalable backend services and APIs, focusing on AI integrations and microservices architecture
• Participate in agile rituals and contribute to continuous delivery processes, ensuring timely production releases

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Proficiency in relational databases and ORM technologies, particularly Hibernate
• Experience with AI development tools and integrations
• Demonstrated ability to deliver software applications from inception to production within a cross-functional team environment
