Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Owning backend architecture and infrastructure, the fully remote Senior Backend Engineer will build and maintain services using Node.js and TypeScript while driving technical decisions and improving platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
• Manage AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, RDS, S3, and IAM
• Enhance CI/CD processes, observability, and overall platform reliability

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or full-stack experience with a backend focus
• Strong skills in Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of authentication, permissions, and API security
• Experience with DevOps practices and production systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and take ownership of tasks
