Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems for a modern e-commerce marketplace, the remote Senior Backend Engineer will leverage expertise in Golang, distributed systems, and cloud platforms while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang
• Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for internal and third-party integrations
• Develop and support Airflow data pipelines using Python

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience
• 3+ years of production experience with Golang
• Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms
• Strong experience designing REST and gRPC APIs
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience
