Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support a modern e-commerce marketplace, the fully remote Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Golang, focusing on API development, distributed systems, and cloud-native services.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain clean, secure, and well-documented REST and gRPC APIs
• Lead backend architecture discussions and provide technical direction across engineering teams

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• 3+ years of production experience developing applications with Golang
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems on GCP or similar cloud platforms
• Strong experience building enterprise-grade REST and gRPC APIs
• Hands-on experience developing Airflow DAGs using Python or similar workflow orchestration tools
