Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to design and develop backend services within a microservices ecosystem, focusing on subscriptions and loyalty systems while working remotely and progressing toward a leadership role in the Promo & Loyalty team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, including new services for subscriptions and loyalty
• Refactor existing business logic from the monolith into dedicated services and participate in architectural discussions
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to improve system performance and maintainability

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience with strong commercial expertise in C# and .NET
• Experience building and maintaining production systems, particularly with microservices or modular monoliths
• Strong understanding of software architecture and backend design
• Experience with code refactoring and making technical decisions
• Familiarity with AI tools in software development workflows
