Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer focused on backend systems and cloud-native platforms, the role involves designing and operating backend services, writing production code in Python, and ensuring system reliability and performance while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services and shared infrastructure for data pipelines and analytics
• Architect and manage AWS-based cloud-native systems, ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency
• Enable data platforms and analytics systems through reliable backend services and maintain observability standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, backend engineering, or data engineering roles
• Strong backend development skills with experience in production services and internal platforms
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, RDS, and S3
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated testing methodologies
