Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Backend Engineer will manage core systems for user accounts and services, focusing on product lifecycle management, integration of external services, and high-quality code development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage long-term systems supporting customer accounts, including proposing and developing upgrades
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer pain points and develop product documentation for new features
• Integrate external services and maintain communication with vendors during the integration process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or extensive independent code development experience
• Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a software engineer
• Experience in managing product maintenance, scaling, and upgrades
• Proficiency in web technologies and willingness to learn TypeScript, GCS, PostgreSQL, etc
• Experience in payments, crypto/web3, and fintech is a plus but not required
