Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and build highly concurrent distributed systems in Go while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive execution and technical excellence across backend projects, setting engineering standards and conducting code reviews
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services while architecting distributed systems for high availability and fault tolerance
• Optimize backend systems for performance and reliability, ensuring high standards for uptime and operational readiness

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering or distributed systems engineering
• Strong expertise in Go and building highly concurrent systems
• Experience designing and operating highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems at scale
• Proficiency with consensus and coordination primitives for multi-zone deployments
• Strong API design and system architecture skills
