Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and build highly concurrent, distributed systems in Go while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive execution and technical excellence across backend projects, setting engineering standards and conducting code reviews
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, optimizing for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with frontend, platform, and embedded teams to integrate services and support end-to-end system design

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering or distributed systems engineering
• Strong expertise in Go and building highly concurrent systems
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale
• Strong API design and system architecture skills
• Ability to drive projects from concept through production
