Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To lead the design and implementation of innovative products, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will work remotely, focusing on developing secure and scalable services for speech processing, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with Product teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Improve core inference services, including networking, speech processing, and audio transcoding
• Develop processes for measuring and optimizing services to enhance system performance
• Debug complex system issues and customize backend services to meet customer needs

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an industry role
• Programming experience in Rust (or C, C++) and competence in Python
• High level of experience with version control, preferably git
• Comprehensive experience with UNIX-style systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
