Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical software applications, the remote Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and optimize core services and APIs, focusing on performance, reliability, and security in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs for desktop applications
• Architect service-layer logic for validation, analytics, and business rule enforcement
• Optimize backend systems for performance, concurrency, and efficient resource utilization

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in backend languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, C#, or Node.js
• Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design
• Solid understanding of concurrency, memory management, and system performance
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus
