Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely across EMEA, LATAM, or North America, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and maintain complex backend systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement scalable product features.

Key responsibilities

• Build reliable backend systems and design state-of-the-art APIs to enable new product features
• Drive and deliver on the product roadmap, turning rough specifications into functional features
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers while collaborating closely with product, design, and customer success teams

Required qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining complex, large, or growing systems
• Strong debugging skills with a focus on identifying root causes of production issues
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and suggesting improvements
• Commitment to best practices and thorough testing of delivered software
• Familiarity with backend technologies, though specific stack experience is not required
