Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To build and scale an AI-powered cost intelligence platform, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and implement backend features, focusing on AI capabilities and collaborating closely with product teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build backend-heavy platform features for the AI cost intelligence platform
• Productionalise AI-enabled capabilities and implement AI across the entire software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with Product teams to turn vision into shipped features while identifying blockers and iterating quickly

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering background, with hands-on experience building on AWS
• Proficiency in Python, with Java or C++ as acceptable secondary languages
• Demonstrated experience using AI in real production systems
• Ability to architect backend services supporting asynchronous workflows and event-driven pipelines
