Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer, this remote position will design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, focusing on Elasticsearch, container orchestration, and distributed systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using microservices architecture
• Build and operate production workloads on Kubernetes, including deployments and autoscaling
• Optimize application performance and reliability in distributed and containerized environments

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including running production workloads for at least 3 years
• Solid experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing strategies and query optimization
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Go, Python, or Java
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration
