Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative backend systems, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design and maintain scalable distributed systems, collaborate with product teams, and engage directly with clients to deliver high-quality solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed backend systems for platform capabilities
- Own backend services end-to-end, from architecture to long-term reliability
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape product decisions and client solutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in designing and building distributed backend systems
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns
- Hands-on experience with containerized systems (Docker & Kubernetes) and AWS
- Proficiency in databases, including SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with AI-assisted workflows in engineering practices
