Job Summary
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Experimentation team, the remote full-time position will design and operate scalable backend services and APIs, contributing to the technical direction and delivering new functionalities for a strategic product that enhances data-driven decision-making for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs for the Experimentation product
- Own the lifecycle of backend components, from technical discovery to continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into reliable technical solutions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically with backend services
- Strong programming skills in Go or a comparable backend language
- Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs
- Familiarity with analytical data stores such as Postgres, Snowflake, or equivalent technologies
- Proven ability to diagnose production issues and improve system reliability
