Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer to work remotely, who will manage the full product lifecycle, focusing on networking, performance, security, and integrations while primarily writing open-source code in Go.
Key responsibilities
- Implement automatic discovery and enrollment of AWS EKS clusters and applications running within Kubernetes
- Design and develop secure SSH server access using short-lived credentials and extend Teleport RBAC for resource access control
- Build and maintain Teleport's core SSH infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across server environments
Required qualifications
- Builder mentality with experience in developing zero-to-one products
- Extensive experience with Go programming language
- Proven background in developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms
- Experience in Linux systems software engineering
