Job Summary
Focused on enhancing performance and scalability, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design, develop, and ship high-quality products while working remotely and collaborating with customers and teams on complex systems in Go.
Key responsibilities
- Become an expert on scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large deployments
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality products while writing code primarily in Go
- Collaborate with customers to diagnose and resolve performance issues
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience with Go programming language
- Proven background in developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems
- Experience in Linux systems engineering
- Familiarity with Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models
- Demonstrated contributions to open source projects are a plus
