Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic R&D team, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design scalable systems, implement features, and drive AI-assisted development practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Mentor junior engineers in software engineering best practices and methodologies
- Work with product teams to understand requirements and oversee execution and deployment
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL databases
- Proficiency in designing event-driven microservices and familiarity with architectural patterns like DDD and CQRS
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- BA/BS degree with 8+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Experience with AI coding assistants and their integration into development workflows
