Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing platform, the full-time Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring fellow engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, high-performance APIs and backend services
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for scalability and maintainability
- Establish engineering best practices and conduct code reviews to optimize application performance
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building modern, cloud-based web applications
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Functions and Cosmos DB
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization
