Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of advanced AI products, the fully remote Senior Backend Engineer will architect and manage high-concurrency Go microservices, optimize asynchronous pipelines, and ensure the reliability of the multimodal generation pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Design and scale Go microservices for AI generation lifecycle management
- Optimize ConnectRPC services and asynchronous pipelines for resource-intensive inference
- Collaborate with external providers and Product to enhance user experience based on model output
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience building and scaling backend services in Go within high-traffic SaaS environments
- Proven ability to design distributed microservice architectures with asynchronous processing
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EKS, S3, Lambda) and relational databases, preferably Postgres
- Strong production discipline in observability, performance profiling, and automated testing
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively in a distributed team
