Senior Backend Engineer
Job Summary
A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and client teams to build new features for mobile and web products
- Design, scale, and test proprietary algorithms for inventory curation and pricing
- Develop and maintain reliable APIs that support high RPM traffic
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of full-time software engineering experience
- Proficiency in at least one backend server language (Go, Ruby, Python)
- Production experience with database storage systems (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- 3+ years of experience working with a major cloud platform (AWS)
- Experience building high throughput, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
