Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer (Golang) for a remote contracted position.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of highly scalable and reliable Golang microservices
Architect, design, and implement backend systems with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
7+ years of backend engineering experience, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining large-scale consumer-facing applications
Expert knowledge of Golang with deep understanding of its ecosystems
Proficient in database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL
Experience with middleware technologies, specifically Redis
