Senior Backend Java Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced Backend Java Engineers will find a full-time opportunity focused on developing Microservices using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and various messaging products while working in a flexible environment that allows for some remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Write code to develop and support Microservices initiatives within the software development team
• Lead technical efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software design patterns and event-driven architecture
• Utilize cloud services and ORM frameworks to enhance application performance and scalability

Required qualifications

• Advanced to Expert level proficiency with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
• Experience with Microservices architecture and ORM frameworks like JPA and Hibernate
• Familiarity with JMS messaging products such as Solace or ActiveMQ
• Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and common software design patterns
• Hands-on experience as a technical lead in software development projects
