Senior Backend Software Developer

Job Summary

Designing and developing API and database backend services, the full-time Senior Backend Software Developer will work primarily remotely with occasional office visits, focusing on solving complex problems and improving system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for a cloud-hosted PBX platform
• Contribute to architecture decisions regarding functionality, scalability, and reliability
• Debug and resolve complex issues in production and pre-production environments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a backend focus
• Recent development experience in Python
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and API development
• Proficient in SQL and relational database management
• Experience with CI/CD practices and test automation
