Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer, Backend to build and maintain a platform for fulfilling customer orders and prescriptions at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build backend services for telehealth and eCommerce platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide architectural decisions and deliver solutions
• Implement monitoring, observability, and contribute to operational excellence

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• 3+ years of experience with backend distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS for microservices management
• Proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
