Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Principal Backend Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-first high performant backend services and APIs for IoT products on Azure
• Develop efficient cloud-native data storage and analysis for real-time insights from IoT devices
• Ensure high software quality through rigorous testing and development of automated unit tests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience developing backend software and APIs for cloud-native applications
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core, or similar programming language
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including Azure functions and API management
• Experience in database design with Azure Data Explorer, relational databases, and NoSQL databases
