Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (Backend-Manager).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6-8 engineers and oversee software design and development
• Collaborate with government partners to architect and implement new systems and improvements
• Participate in hiring activities and support production systems through an on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment
• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing and mentoring engineers
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Go, OpenAPI, and AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 standards and developing API endpoints
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
