Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant - Software Engineer (Backend/Platform/Cloud).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver highly scalable backend systems for eCommerce operations
• Develop robust APIs using microservice architecture and integrate with upstream and downstream systems
• Implement event-driven architecture patterns and deploy backend services in a Google Cloud Platform environment

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java and modern frameworks
• 5+ years of experience building scalable, distributed backend systems using microservices
• Experience designing and deploying production-grade APIs in cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or Google Pub/Sub
• Strong familiarity with distributed caching techniques such as Redis or Memcached
